Hotel Park

Park hotel is located in the degraded area of the former Argo factory in Izola. It is designed so that part of the hotel runs along the axis of the torn down part of the factory. In addition, it has light elongated design, which forms a multi purpose square on the one side of it and it opens towards the inner park on the other side. The park represents the central part of the hotel and is a intersection of the paths that connect the main axes of the park, which are part of a larger area IPA4. Main point of the park is a fountain which is hidden underground. The paths are equipped with greenery and flowers of different types as a filler between them. A special feature of the hotel are the bridges raised to the height of the 1st floor. The »floating« architecture offerst the guest a unique experience among the treetops and overlooking the park. A gentle slope to the north leads our view to the internal park and to northern part of the hotel, which is part of the waterfront. The ground floor on the southern part of the hotel is mainly administrative and also serves as service part of the hotel. Hotel rooms are located on the higher floors. The program of the northern part on the ground is exclusively commerical. On the next three floors there are hotel rooms of a higher price class as well as a restaurant and a bar with a terrace. On the roof of the hotel there is a also a terrace with an infinity pool, which acts as a viewpoint. It gives the hotel added value, as the views open up towards the inner park as well as the marina and the old town of Izola.
