Modular student housing

Project of modular student housing was part of the design studio Gregorski. Analysis of all student housing in Ljubljana was made. Because most of them have quite small living spaces I designed the concept of stacking modular units that would have more multipurpose spaces - living room, reading room, etc. Each module would house 2 students with shared bathroom and seperate study area. Between them there would be multipurpose rooms and kitchens. The facade is made so each study area sticks out of basic volume of the building, thus giving more natural light to study areas. This pattern repeats through whole bulding.
